Two American tourists face the prison for spraying paint

 Two American tourists faced prison sentences three years after they were arrested for painting shop fronts in Thailand.

 Selling Ternberg, 28, Nicole Gollen, 24, along with a third unidentified friend, is walking the streets of Bangkok's Chinatown on Wednesday (May 29).

 The camera footage from the early morning showed that the trio stopped in front of a store before they started destroying property at around 1 am.

 The woman handed sprayers to friends before each person started climbing a steel gate and spraying the door.  The caped man also took graffiti photos before leaving.

 Tourists continue to spray water on many walls and doors around the area, including residents' pickups with the phrase '' Remember Youngrektum gentleman 2019 ''.

 Tourist police began searching for vandals and eventually arrested two of them last night (June 5) in the coastal city of Pattaya.

 Two tourists told police that the third person in the video had left Thailand.  They admitted that three of them sprayed on public and private property because they were very drunk.

 "We want to apologize to the Thai people," Ternberg said.  And I hope this could warn other tourists not to repeat this action because they will be arrested by Thai police.  ''

 Spokesman for Chakrawat police said three tourists face charges of causing public and private property damage and will have to pay more than 40,000 baht (1,000GBP) of fines.  However, the third man seen in the video is likely to escape the penalty that has left the country.

 The spokesperson said: "The Immigration Department staff has been informed of the incident.  After they face legal action, their visas will be revoked and they will be blacklisted in the form of a non-grata persona and deported.  ''

 The maximum prison term for criminal damages is three years in prison, but previous cases show that tourists will be deported without doing time.

 In November last year, Brit Lee Furlong, 23, was arrested and later expelled after indignating by spraying 'Scouse Lee' on an ancient fortress in Chiang Mai province.
